“50 years is surreal, and pretty amazing! When I look back to where we started, it was just a few of us and I don’t think we could have ever expected this. We were just looking for a way to make a living in Augusta, we had experience in the industry, and a team that was willing to pitch in and do what we had to do to get everything started. We are proud to say that we have several long standing members of our team, some serving our organization for 10, 15, and even 20+ years. We stopped to ask a few of our employees to reflect on Ellefson Transportation Group and what this milestone means to them. “Over the years, I watched as the company grew from a young, new agent for United Van Lines with the very beginning of Augusta Data Storage to what has expanded into a much larger corporation including Shredding and Go-Minis. As the company grew, I had the pleasure of watching this amazing family grow as well. Don and Ulla became grandparents to wonderful grandchildren who are becoming bright, intelligent, caring adults.
